Details of the Grave Charges The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous acts of sexual assault – comprising acts against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 and 2021. One senior prosecutor commented, “Legal teams have worked at length to support a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.” Scope of the Investigation These allegations come after what police called a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital. Spencer is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th. Breakdown of Charges Prosecutors said the forty-five sexual offences he is charged with: Fifteen counts of assault. 17 counts of assault by penetration. 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen. One count of attempting to assault by penetration.
